After weeks of anticipation, former RBD member Christopher Von Uckermann has revealed his latest creation. The music video for “Sinfonía,” directed by Gerard Howland, was shot at the Nicholson Ranch vineyard in the beautiful city of Sonoma, California. The short film for the song, co-written by the Mexican singer, as well as George Noriega and Jodi Marr, is the finished product made from the remaining footage after 80% of the tapes were stolen, including video equipment, when they made that fateful stop in San Francisco. The video shows Uckermann in a fantasy world where he performs the song with vivacious energy and an imagination that shows off the new sound of his solo project.
Somos, his debut album, has climbed the sales charts as one of the most pre-ordered albums on several online music stores. To be sold on both CD and digital formats, Somos will be released in the USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, and Sweden, along with Colombia and Peru.
The album is set to hit stores in the US on Tuesday, November 16th. Expect Uckermann to quickly launch a tour where he’ll head to Miami, Puerto Rico, Houston, and Los Angeles.
